Barb - "Damita Barbita suffered a terrible injury and lost an eye. In empathy, I too have donned an eye patch." |

Fern - "I'm a lousy poet so I promise I won't *shudder* go there. I never thought of giving my doll a name, or dressing her up in clothes, or putting her in any cute poses . . . I don't seem to have any creative genes at all! On to the next person if you want entertainment!!" |
Maxine - "I invite you here. A place where, if you listen closely, you can hear the echoes of children playing. A young boy, first in his sandbox, then with his matchbox cars, then on to the swing set and into the wading pool. Up on the trampoline, reaching for the stars, and as he grew to be a man and put away the childhood toys, he helped plant these trees. One more will be added soon to memorialize his memory. My Damit Doll also likes it here and lets me be angry for my loss. As I take out my frustration, she also catches my tears." |

Tina - "I call her Miss Elly, although her "Official" name is Miss Damnelly - she is a constant companion - she goes to work in my briefcase each day, and I get a lot of strange looks from people when they see her, but even stranger looks from passing cars when I am pounding her as I drive. She has seen me through my darkest days and the lowest points, she will forever remain by my side."
